I am a Chiropractic Physician by trade, but a dreamer by nature. I have an idea-a-minute, and its hard to put them into motion, but I try, trust me, I try. I'm a world traveler, an eternal optimist, and a hopeless romantic, so I spend lots of time doing anything, except what I'm supposed to be doing. This makes me a procrastinator, and a chronically tardy annoyance, but I smile alot so I must be doing something right!
When I'm not in my office or traveling, I'm writing. Novels, screenplays, songs, etc. I have been a poet my entire life, and finally decided to put the wrinkled scraps of paper together in a book called Loss of Voice in 2006. I was glad to get it out there, and finally share it with the world. Some of the poetry is from my childhood, and the latest was written the day I submitted my final manuscript to my publisher. The collection covers the full spectrum if you will, but its a fair representation, nonetheless. I just completed a Children's Book called The Adventures of Dusty Popsallot, and its finally available everywhere!
I have many pokers in the fire right now...a couple of books and a screenplay, a patent pending invention that will revolutionize hand strength, and carpal tunnel syndrome...an online store and cafe called Club Cayman that I've been dreaming of for over 20 years....not to mention, my private practice that rewards me every day with fabulous patients. I helped form an indie record label called Dreamy Draw Music in 2007, and now we've decided to concentrate on the movie business for a little while!
My current film Music City USA is available on this site for pre-order, and our last film, Queens of Country, starring Lizzy Caplan and Ron Livingston was just picked up by Tribeca Films so look for that to be released late this summer! We are also enjoying great press and glowing reviews of our second film Blood Into Wine , about TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan and his wine-making efforts in Jerome, Arizona. Our first film, a music documentary called The Heart is a Drum Machine is also doing very well. BOTH are available in our store!
Stay tuned for news on both, but please view the trailers from my homepage.
I am a Kentucky boy at heart, though I reside in the beautiful weather of Scottsdale, Arizona. I refused to get too far from my roots, or my love for the University of Kentucky, so I now act as the current president of the UK Alumni Club of Arizona. You should never forget where you come from, and in my case, I never want to.
The bottom line is this: I love life. I live each day to the fullest, and try to surround myself with people that do the same. I can't stand negativity, because this is a one shot deal, and we have to make the best of it, right out of the gate. Enjoy the roller coaster, savor the ride...the journey is so very short.
